Virginia has some of the best environmental standards in the United States. We need to continue to emphasize pollution reduction programs and set realistic environmental protection goals to both attract businesses to Virginia and protect our valuable state treasures. Sandy will champion initiatives that protect the interests of Virginians by fighting to ensure any investments of tax dollars are geared toward programs and technologies that promote environmental preservation without destroying our economy in the process.
